Bio 1997-2007:


Bendrix (Ben Williams) graduated with a BA (Honors) in Advertising Graphics from Central State University. Bendrix studied graphic design, with an emphasis in fine art and computer graphics. He has been working in the broadcast/media industry for nine years and using computers for over twenty-eight.

Six of those years have been spent as the digital media specialist at JWT (formerly J. Walter Thompson), the oldest and fourth largest advertising agency in the world. In 2001, Ben helped to pioneer digital media distribution methods by implementing audio and video compression, authoring, and streaming solutions. This New York "flagship office" became the first major ad agency in North America to develop an in-house A/V archival and video distribution system. In 2005, Ben pioneered again when he helped to usher in podcasting, video portals, and social networks as new media strategies.

Ben is the first video podcaster to cite coverage of Digital Life Expo, NAB, Podcast & New Media Expo, Flash Forward, Legends of Basketball, and Basketball Hall of Fame. Ben has been featured in the 2nd edition "Secrets of Pocasting" by Bart G. Farkas and Student Filmakers Magazine. He has also been a featured speaker at NAB (National Association of Broadcasters), the Podcast & New Media Expo, and a live guest on Chuck D's (Public Enemy) show On The Real, Air America. In 2007, Bendrix incorporated codedsignal. Codedsignal Inc. is organized for educational and scientific purposes.
